Announcing: 2016 copywriting course dates plus the importance of being pointless

No email over christmas?.

I make decisions quickly.

Well, that’s not strictly true. I take a long time to warm up to the decision making process. I let ideas and inspiration percolate. I procrastinate. I dilly-dally. I ignore.

But then BAM, the decision is made and wheels are in motion.

That’s what happened with the course dates for my next Copywriting Master Class. I finally sat down to set the dates and I wanted to let you know.

February 24th 2016 – Doors open for new enrolments.

March 24th 2016 – Door close for another 6 months.

That’s it! That’s all I had to do. And now it’s done.

If you’re ready to seriously up your game when it comes to copywriting, you have 30days to register for my Copywriting Master Class (the most supported online copywriting course you’ll find). Once Easter 2016 is upon us, doors will close and I will be busy coaching new students.

That’s actually the best part of the copywriting course. Yes, you get a copywriting bible you can use foreverrrr but you also have me as your copywriting coach as you work through each lesson. I review your copywriting course work and give you feedback. We have monthly coaching calls when you can ask me anything.

So in addition to the copywriting bible of techniques and processes, every student has 20+ hours of copywriting coaching from me.  That’s 20 or more hours of personal attention.

Find out more about the copywriting course here. If you’re even a teeny bit interested, subscribe for updates. I launch to the VIP prelaunch list first and they get first dibs on the limited number of coaching spots available.

So that’s the business out of the way.

Let’s talk about Christmas!

I LOVE Christmas. I love the songs. I love the movies. I love decorating our house. I love wishing everyone merry festiveness. And I mean everyone.

And Christmas is almost upon us.

By the time you grab a few moments to read this, I’ll be with my family (who have travelled half way around the world to be with us). Spending time with family is a funny old thing. I miss them with all my heart and then they’re here and I’m going crazy. But I love the crazy. When you live away from your family, you learn to cherish the crazy while you have it.Copywriting relaxation: Dot to Dot book cover

So this Christmas season I’m going to be doing my best to ignore my computer. I have some big old dot-to-dot books I want to get through. Yes, dot-to-dot books. 1000 dots in every picture and the numbers are teeny so the focus required is intensely relaxing.

Some of you might be thinking, how pointless! But that is entirely the point. I want to make time to be pointless over the holidays. To day dream. To doze. To sit and drink a cup of tea all the way to the bottom, while it’s still hot.

Simple goals but ones that will replenish my soul so I’m raring to go in 2016.

What about you? Are you making time to be pointless over Christmas?
