That’s right, baby. I’m back!
If you’ve emailed Copywrite Matters in the past few weeks, you would have received an out of office message telling you the shop was shut (temporarily).
Why? Well, I welcomed a baby girl into my world of words, Faraday Eleanor. Oh, and I moved house (in a different country).
It was busy. Man, was it busy.
During that time you might have noticed emails, updates and tweets being answered at ungodly hours. I fell even more in love with some of my productivity apps and devices.
There were also lots of blog ideas noted down so the Copy Detective promises to have lot of great, juicy blogs coming.
And copywriting? The out office is being turned off as off Monday and projects are already being booked in!
Super Powers not included
I’m not going to pretend I have the same amount of time available as BF (before Faraday). This is my first experience at being a parent and I don’t know what the hell I’m doing. And, as much as it pains me to admit it, I’m not a superhero.
It doesn’t mean I don’t love youse all or that, as clients, you can’t expect the same excellent customer service.
But I ask for your patience while I get back into the rhythm of it all.
Copywriting with personality and purpose
If you need a hand communicating your awesome, get Copywrite Matters on the case. I specialise in writing about your business in a way that gets attention, not in a way that induces a nap.
And you can get in touch with me right here.
Let’s chat soon!

I have no idea how you manage as much as you do!! But lovely to see you back Belinda (with ‘mini you’ in tow) 🙂
Like a swan Anna… all calm to look at but with mad style paddling underneath the surface! 😉

Thanks Abbe. We thought it was a great name too. During the choosing stage we played a game we called “Could she be a rockstar, Could she be a scientist” This one fit both!
Congratulations Belinda! Faraday is a beautiful name and you’re right, it fits a rock star and scientist both 🙂
Loads of good wishes for you and your little one.
Thanks!
Looking forward to having you back! *waves* from sunny Port Douglas. Catch you on Monday when I too are back on deck! 😉
I hope you’re enjoying your break Kirsty!
Give Faraday a kiss for me, and tell her we think her Mommy is a superhero just for getting through pregnancy!
I will. No shortage of kisses going around here.
And thanks, that’s really kind of you to say. *cue posturing around the house*
Welcome back Belinda! I’m sure you’ll juggle motherhood and business with all your usual awesomeness 🙂
Thanks Cathy. I appreciate the vote of confidence!

Marya Jan (can’t sign in for some reason)
Thanks Marya Jan. We love the name too although we’ve nicknamed her Freddy (much to my mum’s chagrin 😉
