PAGE 1 OF HOMEWORK
My main keyword focus = ‘quit smoking’
Secondary keywords = stop smoking, no more cigarettes
Ideas for title and description tags for the page =
“Our proven technique to help you kick the smoking habit and free up your life.”
“Get to freedom fast. Quit smoking in 30 days.”
PAGE 2 OF HOMEWORK (My edit of the provided copy)
Different methods suit different people.
Choose the best way to get you to “I quit smoking!”
It’s confusing, isn’t it?
All those opinions … different approaches … different methods.
But, which one is right for YOU?
Cut down and quit smoking slowly?
How about nicotine replacement?
Maybe online support?
You know one method – or maybe even a combination – is right for you.
You just have to find it!
Don’t even THINK about doing this alone.
We’re here to help you decide which option is best for you.

When it comes to your keywords, you’ve selected some great keywords to use across the site but each page should also have its own focus. So these words are good but if you optimised every page for these keywords, the effective wouldn’t be as good.
This page is about a plan to quit smoking and your brainstorming could start with phrasing around :
How to quit smoking, quit smoking strategies, quit smoking methods, plan to quit smoking
Then you can use stop smoking in there as a valuable synonym.
Title and description tags
Pop your keywords as close to the beginning as possible. The title is the #1 place for your primary (or big hero) keyword. The description can use synonyms and secondary choices.
Some general tips in light of the fact that you will want to make the keywords more specific/niche to the focus on this page:
When you have a vaguish word – like “methods” or a phrase like “which one”, it’s an opportunity to get more specific and use your keyword!
It’s only a small amount of copy but look for ways to work in your main keywords and then use synonyms to add variety. You also highlighted “no more cigarettes” as a strong keyword but you haven’t used it in the copy.
It can also be useful – as we know this is online copy – to tag your headings.
H1: for the main page heading
H2: for subheadings
H1: Stop smoking in just 30 days << this was the BIG promise in your title tag so it needs to be here too so people know they are in the right place. Then this copy needs to deliver on that promise. The copy I provided doesn’t, which is okay for the purposes of this exercise – but be aware that message matching is essential.
H2: Choose the best quit smoking plan and get to freedom FAST.
