Who am I?
I’m not a fly-by-night-written-a-few-emails-and-decided-to-teach kind of copywriter. I’ve been writing copy for 10+ years, full time as a successful and in-demand freelance copywriter for nine of those years.
I’ve worked with hundreds (and hundreds) of clients of all sizes in all kinds of industries and I've launched my own successful copywriting courses and mentoring program.
One of my favourite copywriting projects is emails. My Daily Draft emails go out emails to over 5000 subscribers and my average open rate is 26.51%. Just to put that into context, a generally accepted measure email campaign success open rate percentage is 15%-25%. My open rates for launches range between 23.68% - 64.05%.
Is the subject line the only factor in those open rates? NO. Is the subject line a big part of it? YES!
